Well, maybe 'white man' isn't responsible anymore?

There's a broad assumption among immigrants that Canadian natives (not
just aboriginals) are uneducated "cave-men" in need of Civilizing.
It's a function of GOC policy that finds it cheaper to import talent than
develop it locally.

government to shut down liquor sales across the province.
I dunno what it is about Canadian Indians, but the 39 tribes
(273,200 people) represented in Oklahoma don't have anywhere NEAR
the drug/alcohol problems that the Canucks have...
They sit on top of huge oil and natural gas reserves so they can
afford excellent social services and education perhaps?
Don't forget all their casinos, heh, heh.

The standard for how much Indian blood one needs to legally considered
"Native American" is 1/16th by the federal government. If that's the case,
then I'm a Cherokee because both my grandmothers were half-breeds. It seems
like just about everyone in Oklahoma is part Indian, but look like some
other ethnicity.

In New York state, when the Mashantucket Pequots first won federal
recognition, critics complained that they were "too White". The criticism
grew louder after the Narragansett and Niantic were added to the rolls, as
detractors declared the Mashantucket Pequots "too black" to be authentic
Indians. Donald Trump grumbled on Don Imus's radio show that "I think I
might have more Indian blood than a lot of the so-called Indians that are
trying to open up the reservations...They don't look like Indians to me, and
don't look like Indians to Indians." Imus wholeheartedly agreed, responding
with "A couple of these Indians up in Connecticut look like Michael Jordan,
frankly."

Similar to the USA then ...... rather than educate our own
tech talent we just import cheaper talent from India.
Trying to educate subanthropoids is a waste of time,
as we've learned from Brown. vs. Board of Education...
